I am not one for country, as by most of my playlist, besides like Sam Hunt. However, that being said I actually discovered this song on a playlist for Rogue One. a Jyn Erso and Captain Andor playlist and I really did fall in love with it.
It’s a sweet sentiment when people go about their day and little things remind them of you. Obviously, anyone would love to hear it, but it just hits different when it’s someone you love. Recently my cousin texted me that the guy she is not dating (oh they will end up married, i’m like 99% sure) that he had found something at a store and it made him stop for a whole few minutes, laugh and think of her. I mean, maybe my idea of true love/someone who really loves you is so stupid and desperate since my dating record hasn’t been good since I was like sixteen… but that is the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard and we squealed about it for a good twenty minutes on the phone. Why is it viewed as less masculine or weird to be up front and honest and tell a person you’ve been thinking about them? Because, news flash…we like it. Strike that – i take it back. we LOVE IT.
This little moment in time that took less than a minute to type on the phone, made her entire week and I was so happy for her. If anything, to me, it speaks volumes that you were a normal human being who just felt deeply and you wanted to share it with someone. We need more of that.
So, in the spirit of communication, here is a humble daisy for you, the people who actually have gotten this far and read – i’ve been thinking about you!
